Ana-Maria is responsible for implementing IFPMA\u2019s communications strategy, bringing to life the exciting scientific progress happening in pharmaceutical and research labs and fostering a better understanding of the industry\u2019s contribution to global health through innovation.<\/p>\n
In addition, she supports several other workstreams, including regulatory and ethical frameworks, as well as health security and antimicrobial resistance.<\/p>\n
She manages media relations and digital communications, advising on the channels that will amplify the industry\u2019s voice most. She also supports the co-creation of engagement platforms that help bring stakeholders – from international institutions to media outlets – together.<\/p>\n
Her journey in the health sector has taken her to and from consultancies with integrated communications roles supporting private sector businesses, trade associations, and start-ups in Brussels, Paris, and Bucharest. She also held two roles in national policymaking and communications in her native country of Romania.<\/p>\n
