Elliot leads the Communications Team at IFPMA, overseeing our media, social media, and wider communications strategy to support the delivery of IFPMA’s advocacy work.<\/p>\n

Prior to joining IFPMA, Elliot held the position of Executive Director, Corporate Affairs and Devolved Nations at the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry (ABPI), where he led the Association’s work on government affairs, communications, and reputation.\u00a0 During his time at the ABPI, Elliot led the Association’s work on Brexit, which included a period of over a year on secondment as a national expert at the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations (EFPIA).<\/p>\n

Before joining the\u00a0pharmaceutical industry, Elliot led the\u00a0Policy and External Affairs function for a large UK based NGO and worked as the Senior Parliamentary Advisor to the Parliamentary Private Secretary in the UK Government’s Business and Treasury Ministerial team.<\/p>\n
